County Administrator Dr. Lee Niblock, City Manager Ricky Horst, Commissioner Barbara Fitos, EDC Pres./CEO Pete Tesch and the 2008/2009 EDC Chair Brian O'Connor were among thirty federal, state and local leaders attending a briefing at CFCC to take decisive action regarding the current unemployment statistics and anticipated increase with the closure of Taylor, Bean & Whitaker. The Ocala/Marion County Economic Action Team has been meeting monthly since August 2009. The Action plan with status updates is available for you to download.
MARION COUNTY ECONOMIC STUDIES AND EDC PERFORMANCE REPORTS
The EDC's strategic plan utilizes the POLICOM Corporation's Goal Setting Studies as a benchmark for and development of our job creation goals. Each year POLICOM publishes a performance report to track progress toward those goals.The studies below are posted for your convenience.
